Everything we do is a little bit different

  1. 1It’s not a desk job

Our work days are rarely routine, which can be a blessing. Our skillset is varied; whether we are selling a new property that has come to the market, handling clients that have dropped by in the office, or negotiating through a new challenge that has presented itself, different tasks require attention and focus. Whether visiting a property, breaking down a survey, understanding a solicitor's legal jargon or marketing for new clients – everyday offers a chance to do something worthwhile.

  2. 2We like people

We meet people all the time, from all walks of life. Sometimes in good times, sometimes not so much. If you are good with people, outward in your personality and care about those who you meet, then working with Stanfords could be for you.

  3. 3Talent and focus

Being reactive is not productive. There is a lot of competition out there from all avenues and a Stanfords agent needs to be more energetic, determined, knowledgeable and understanding to stand out from the crowd and not blend into obscurity.

  4. 4Smart and experienced

People buy from people. People they like, people they trust, people they feel are honest and informed. Having integrity and building a positive reputation requires you to be smart when dealing with clients and negative objections. Experience comes from handling those and learning that everyday there is always something new.

Our diverse set of skills

Property

Understanding what property is. Whether it be architecture, the home, a passion, investments; property means something different to everyone. To us, it's a way of life and we need the marketing skills to go with it.

Knowledge

We educate our people rigorously. There are so many facets to our work and we want our teams to be able to cover all those bases between them. Legal or structural, we make it our business to understand.

Administrative

With laws and legislation, rules and regulations, we understand our place and buy into all our property transactions.

Negotiation

Being an estate agent requires you to back yourself. Providing a positive service demands effort, resolve and integrity. It's rewarding for those who can do that successfully and promote a positive reputation.

Communicating

The beauty of a local agent is that we are present. We don't hide behind email addresses, websites and automation – you can find us in a physical location where you can pop by.

Negotiating

Selling in any industry in the twenty-first century requires effort, resolve and integrity. Building a positive reputation is important to us.
