We moved here 11 years ago looking for more space and have loved making it our home. Alongside decorating, we installed new flooring (carpet and Amtico) and I had a lot of fun redesigning the wardrobes, which are now one of the things I'll miss most. It has also been super useful to have a utility cupboard alongside other built-in storage.


The energy-efficient heating system has been an unexpected joy, having lived in draughty period property previously and a benefit with the recent energy price rises.
Like many people recently, we have both needed to work from home and have had enough space to do so without disturbing one another. The generous second bedroom now comfortably accommodates guests and a home office.


We have loved being so close to the station and it was such an easy commute when I worked in the city. We love bars and restaurants and often head to New Cross and Deptford (5-minute train journey) for nights out. We have also enjoyed being able to walk to Greenwich, Blackheath and Lewisham.


Our neighbours are great and formed a Facebook group during the pandemic which continues now.
